Description

Fluffy and comforting pancakes that are quick and easy to make, perfect for any breakfast gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp oil


Instructions

  1. Mix the dry ingredients—flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt—in a bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat the egg, milk, and oil together until well combined. Pour this mixture into the bowl of dry ingredients.
  3. Stir just until combined; it’s perfectly fine if the batter is slightly lumpy.
  4. Heat a lightly greased skillet over medium heat and cook the pancakes for about 2 minutes on each side, or until they turn a lovely golden brown.
  5. Serve with maple syrup, butter, or toppings of your choice.

Notes

For added flavor, try mixing in vanilla extract or chocolate chips. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 2-3 days, or freeze for up to a month.
