Ingredients

  • 1 pound macaroni
  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 1 can (15 oz) chili beans
  • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or a blend)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: bell peppers, corn, or jalapeños for customization


Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef or turkey over medium heat in a large pot, breaking it up as you cook.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in the chili powder, salt, and pepper for flavor.
  4. Add the chili beans, diced tomatoes, broth, and macaroni to the pot, bringing it all to a boil.
