Description
A delicious loaf combining ripe bananas and fresh blueberries, perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup of melted butter
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- A pinch of salt
- 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of fresh blueberries
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
- Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas.
- Mix in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract until well incorporated.
- Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture, then mix it in.
- Add the flour and mix until just incorporated.
- Fold in the blueberries gently.
- Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Serve warm with butter or enjoy plain. Store wrapped at room temperature or freeze for longer storage.
