Description

Delicious ham and cheese sliders nestled between sweet Hawaiian rolls, perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 12 sweet Hawaiian rolls
  • 8 slices of ham
  • 8 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, melt the butter, and mix in the poppy seeds, Dijon mustard, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce until combined.
  3. Carefully slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  4. Lay the slices of ham and Swiss cheese generously over the bottom halves of the rolls.
  5. Place the top halves of the rolls back on and brush the buttery mixture generously over the tops.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the tops are golden.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a crispier bottom, consider using a cast-iron skillet instead of a baking dish.
