Delicious ham and cheese sliders nestled between sweet Hawaiian rolls, perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.
Ingredients
- 12 sweet Hawaiian rolls
- 8 slices of ham
- 8 slices of Swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small bowl, melt the butter, and mix in the poppy seeds, Dijon mustard, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce until combined.
- Carefully slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
- Lay the slices of ham and Swiss cheese generously over the bottom halves of the rolls.
- Place the top halves of the rolls back on and brush the buttery mixture generously over the tops.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the tops are golden.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For a crispier bottom, consider using a cast-iron skillet instead of a baking dish.
