Easy and satisfying oven-baked chicken wings that are crispy, flavorful, and perfect for game day or family gatherings.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Hot sauce or marinade (such as buffalo sauce, honey garlic, or BBQ)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven or air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Dry the wings thoroughly with paper towels.
- In a large bowl, mix the baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss the wings in the seasoning until they’re evenly coated.
- Place the seasoned wings on a wire rack over a baking sheet if using the oven, or lay them in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook in the oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, or air fry for about 25-30 minutes until golden brown and crunchy.
- Optionally, toss the wings in your preferred sauce right after they come out or serve them plain for dipping.
Notes
Serve with celery and carrot sticks, ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
