A budget-friendly recipe for hearty dinners made in a slow cooker with just five ingredients.
Ingredients
- Your choice of protein (chicken, beef, or pork)
- A can of your favorite beans or legumes
- A jar of salsa or pasta sauce
- A bag of frozen veggies or fresh produce
- Seasoning of your choice (salt, pepper, or herbs)
Instructions
- Place your protein in the bottom of the Crockpot.
- Pour in the can of beans, then add your jar of salsa or sauce.
- Top it off with frozen veggies, making sure they’re evenly distributed.
- Sprinkle your chosen seasonings over the top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
