Description

A budget-friendly recipe for hearty dinners made in a slow cooker with just five ingredients.


Ingredients

  • Your choice of protein (chicken, beef, or pork)
  • A can of your favorite beans or legumes
  • A jar of salsa or pasta sauce
  • A bag of frozen veggies or fresh produce
  • Seasoning of your choice (salt, pepper, or herbs)


Instructions

  1. Place your protein in the bottom of the Crockpot.
  2. Pour in the can of beans, then add your jar of salsa or sauce.
  3. Top it off with frozen veggies, making sure they’re evenly distributed.
  4. Sprinkle your chosen seasonings over the top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
