Description

A delightful twist on the classic breakfast dish combining fluffy pancakes with comforting cinnamon and baked apples.

Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Powdered sugar (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, flour, and salt until smooth.
  3. In a large oven-safe skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  4. Add the sliced apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Cook until the apples are slightly softened, stirring occasionally.
  5. Pour the batter over the apples in the skillet, making sure the apples are evenly distributed.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pancake is puffed and golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Serve with warm maple syrup, whipped cream, or a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days.
